Industries we have worked in

Nine industries, each with a project behind it: automotive bodies, automotive plastics, automotive glass, automotive components, commercial vehicle wheels, buses and coaches, rail vehicles, general machinery, electrical enclosures, metal parts on hanging lines, and component supply to robot manufacturers. We publish only the industries we have real project data for.

Automotive bodies appear twice on this site for a reason: painting a body and welding one are different plants, different buyers and different projects. The painting side is below; the welding side — lines, tooling and retooling — is in the body-shop section.

Automotive bodies

Robot painting Robot painting for car bodies For car bodies we supply GR6150-2900 robots at 2,900 mm reach with electrostatic rotary bells, servo gear-pump metering and 5-colour change, tracking the conveyor from opposed stations. One delivered exterior line runs at 23 jobs per hour with four robots; a delivered interior line uses four robots on two 11 m tracks, one opening doors while the other paints. Configuration and figures →

Commercial vehicle wheels

Robot painting Robot painting for truck wheels Steel truck wheels are painted by two GR680-2700 robots in mirrored water-curtain booths, each covering one face of the wheel as it passes on a continuous overhead conveyor at 1,200 mm pitch and 1.4–1.8 m/min, tracked by a 2,000 pulse-per-revolution encoder. Waterborne 1K silver over e-coat at 32–34 s application viscosity. Configuration and figures →

Automotive plastics

Robot painting Robot painting for plastic exterior parts Bumpers, spoilers and grilles up to 1,900 × 800 × 700 mm are coated by five GR6150-2900 robots — one primer, two base, two clear — tracking a conveyor at 0.3–2.5 m/min. Film builds are 8–12 µm primer, 15–30 µm base and 30–40 µm clear, with 2-colour primer change, 12-colour base change including pearl, and externally mixed 2K clear. Configuration and figures →

Buses and coaches

Robot painting Robot painting for bus and coach bodies A bus-body line covers bodies of 12,500 × 2,550 × 3,300 mm and 5 t with six robots on six 15 m explosion-proof seventh axes, three dry booths of 19,000 × 6,800 × 5,300 mm with supply-air conditioning, three ovens and a 20 m heavy-duty roller bed — roughly twenty 40 ft containers. Three 2K coats: epoxy primer airless at 120–150 bar, PU filler by AirMix, acrylic-PU topcoat. Configuration and figures →

General machinery

Robot painting Robot painting for machine housings and general machinery General machinery parts with different colours inside and outside are painted from a long seventh-axis floor track, so one robot covers several stations. One engineered layout used five GR6150-2900 robots on a 72 m track with HIWIN guideways, German helical rack and 3 kW explosion-proof motors, with 3-colour plus solvent change and 2K mixing on separate base and topcoat stations. Configuration and figures →

Metal parts on hanging lines

Robot painting Robot painting for metal parts on a hanging line Small and medium metal parts on a continuous hanging line are coated by several short-reach robots in sequence. One delivered installation uses seven GR6150-1500 robots on a line running at 1.0 m/min with 200 mm hook pitch, 300 parts per hour and hangers rotating at 120 rpm, coating cylindrical parts of Ø152 × 810 mm and 60 kg including the bottom face. Configuration and figures →

Electrical enclosures

Powder coating Powder coating for electrical enclosures with 3D vision Electrical cabinets in a mixed hanging load are powder coated by a robot covering interiors and hard-to-reach areas while reciprocators with four guns per side cover the outer faces. A 3D laser camera identifies the cabinet type, corrects its position and generates the path, so no teaching is needed for each variant; line speed 1–2 m/min, running 24/7 at 60–70 µm. Configuration and figures →

Automotive glass

Adhesive application Robot adhesive application for automotive glass A glass bonding cell applies heated polyurethane to windshields, backlights and quarter glass. One delivered cell handles nine glass types across three car models with one robot and three centering tables measured by Keyence lasers to ±0.2 mm; the customer required 7.5 jobs per hour and the measured result was 14, 16.7 and 17.9 JPH. Configuration and figures →

Rail vehicles

Robot arc welding Robot arc welding for rail vehicle frames Tram and rail frame sub-assemblies are welded in single-robot stations with a positioner presenting the part. One engineered configuration uses EFORT ARC12-2000 and ARC12-1400 robots with MIG/MAG in 18 % CO₂ + Ar, 500 A water-cooled pulse sources, a twin-column headstock–tailstock positioner and a two-axis P-type positioner with torch cleaning stations. Configuration and figures →

Automotive components

Pretreatment and e-coat Pretreatment and cathodic e-coat for automotive components Suspension and similar components are pretreated and e-coated on a programmed-hoist dipping line: spray and dip degrease, rinses, zinc phosphating at 46–54 °C for 180 s, cathodic e-coat at 30–34 °C for 180 s with 44 tubular anodes, ultrafiltration, then a six-zone oven at 160–180 °C. Line cycle 6 minutes with 3 minutes under current, at 500 kg and up to 38 m² of surface per load. Configuration and figures →

Robot integrators and OEMs

Component supply Robot, track and positioner supply for integrators Where you have your own engineering team, we supply hardware only: robots with external-axis drive packages, positioners and seventh-axis tracks, built to drawings your engineering department approves. Two delivered examples — a KUKA KR20 R1810-2 with KRC4 and a Ø1,400 mm self-centering positioner to Chelyabinsk, and a 13,360 mm painting seventh axis with 11,700 mm travel for an Italian robot manufacturer. Frequently asked questions

Do you work in my industry if it is not listed?

The list above is what we have delivered or engineered, and we publish only those. The method does not change with the industry: send parts, process specification and cycle time, and we tell you honestly whether we have done comparable work.

Which industry do you have most experience in?

Automotive — bodies, plastic exterior parts, glass bonding, suspension components and commercial-vehicle wheels account for most of our delivered projects. Rail vehicles, general machinery, electrical enclosures and steel structures follow.

Can you supply to a robot integrator rather than an end user?

Yes, and we do. Hardware-only supply to integrators and robot manufacturers is a normal scope: robots with drive packages, positioners and tracks built to drawings your engineering department approves.
