Painting workstation
Explosion-proof painting robots with the gun, colour change, paint supply and booth interface, pre-tested as one cell before it ships.

Where it is used
Liquid paint, powder and 2K on metal, plastic and composite parts — car bodies and bumpers, wheels, machine housings, furniture panels, small metal parts on hanging lines. Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust atmospheres.
Robots we supply for it
- CMA GR series (ATEX, 8–16 kg, 1,500–3,800 mm)
- Zhihui SR portable series (GB/T 3836, shared booths)
- Explosion-proof collaborative arms for job shops
Brands are supplied, not represented. Figures appear only where we hold the datasheet; see the products page for the model lists.
Typical configuration
- Painting robot with hollow wrist and integrated colour-change block
- Atomiser: air, HVLP, electrostatic or rotary bell to the paint specification
- Paint supply: gear pumps, 2K mixing, solvent block, circulation
- Booth interface: conveyor tracking encoder, door openers, safety fence and Ex barriers
- Offline path programming from the 3D model; scanning gantry for high-mix panel work
Pre-integration and factory acceptance test
The cell is assembled, wired and run in our workshop in Wuhu before it is crated. For this workstation type the FAT covers:
- Arm, cabinet and pendant powered and homed; all axes exercised
- Paint supply run wet with test fluid; colour change cycled; leak check
- Conveyor tracking simulated with encoder input; part program executed on a dummy part
- Safety circuit and Ex barriers proven; report with photos and video
You witness it on a video call or in person; the report with measured figures, photos and video ships in the technical package. How pre-integration works →
Questions we are asked about this cell
Which zone classification do I need?
Solvent paint at the spray position is normally Zone 1 gas; powder is Zone 21 dust; water-based paint may still be Zone 2 depending on the booth. The requirement survey asks for the classification your safety engineer has assigned, and the certificate for each arm names the zones it covers.
Can the robot share a booth with manual sprayers?
Yes — the SR portable series is built for exactly that: a booth used by people most of the day and by the robot for the long runs. It carries a Chinese GB/T 3836 certificate, which a Russian or EAEU site accepts; an ATEX site needs a GR.
Specify this cell in one sitting
The survey for this workstation type has 11 sections and about 79 questions — most are tick boxes. Online it saves as you type and gives you a reference number; the Word file is the same survey for e-mail.
Sections: Customer Basic Information · Coating Process Requirements · Workpiece Information · Line Speed & Existing Manual Spraying Status · Paint / Powder Material Information · Spraying Equipment & Accessories Requirement · Main Equipment List · Site Utility & Installation Conditions · Commercial & Service Requirements · Supplementary Materials & Attachments Required · Other Remarks
Fill in the survey online → Download the Word file (.docx)
Or skip the wait: order the engineered proposal (S1) from USD 900 — credited in full against the equipment, refunded if the cell cannot meet your cycle time.
Send drawings and photos to sales@livespower.com with the reference number. No price is quoted before the part, the specification and the cycle time are known.
