Stamping automation

Press-to-press transfer, destacking and blank feeding for single presses and multi-station lines.

Not sure which robot this needs?

Where it is used

Sheet metal for automotive, appliance and enclosure work: 200 to 2,500 t presses, single-press tending or a line of four to six presses with robot transfer.

Robots we supply for it

  • EFORT ER six-axis, press-tending configurations
  • Moka MB heavy range for large blanks

Brands are supplied, not represented. Figures appear only where we hold the datasheet; see the products page for the model lists.

Typical configuration

  1. Robots between presses with press-signal interface and cam control
  2. Destacker with double-sheet detection and magnetic fanning
  3. End-of-arm tooling: vacuum or magnetic to the blank
  4. Turnover and centring stations where the part orientation changes
  5. Line safety integrated with the press safety PLC

Pre-integration and factory acceptance test

The cell is assembled, wired and run in our workshop in Wuhu before it is crated. For this workstation type the FAT covers:

  • Transfer cycle simulated with press signal timing
  • EOAT tested on customer blanks
  • Line simulation report from the 3D model

You witness it on a video call or in person; the report with measured figures, photos and video ships in the technical package. How pre-integration works →

Questions we are asked about this cell

Can the robots keep up with the press rate?

Up to a point set by the part size and the press stroke; the survey asks for the press cycle and the die layout so the line simulation answers this before anything is bought.

Specify this cell in one sitting

The survey for this workstation type has 8 sections and about 61 questions — most are tick boxes. Online it saves as you type and gives you a reference number; the Word file is the same survey for e-mail.

Sections: Customer Basic Information · Stamping Process & Automation Requirements · Multi-station Press Line Layout Parameters · End-of-Arm Tooling (Gripper) Requirement · Site Utility & Installation Conditions · Commercial & Service Requirements · Supplementary Materials & Attachments Required · Other Remarks

Fill in the survey online →   Download the Word file (.docx)

Or skip the wait: order the engineered proposal (S1) from USD 900 — credited in full against the equipment, refunded if the cell cannot meet your cycle time.

Send drawings and photos to sales@livespower.com with the reference number. No price is quoted before the part, the specification and the cycle time are known.
