Who makes the robots we supply
The GR series painting robots we supply are built by CMA (Wuhu) Robotics Technology Co., Ltd — the company named as certificate holder on every ATEX and Chinese explosion-proof certificate we publish. CMA (Wuhu) is a subsidiary of CMA ROBOTICS S.p.A. of Italy, which the EFORT group acquired in 2015. The SR portable series is built by Zhihui Robot Technology (Wuxi) — the same company formerly registered at Jiangyin, whose literature carries the CHIEHEY brand mark.
Buyers importing from China ask two questions before they ask about price: who actually built this, and can I check it. Below is the chain, with the name that appears on each certificate, so that every link can be verified against a document rather than taken on our word.

Why we publish this instead of an adjective
Anyone can write "professional and reliable". What a safety engineer, a purchasing manager or a customs officer can act on is a name and a number: which legal entity built the machine, which notified body issued the certificate, what the certificate number is and when it expires. So the chain above is written as checkable facts, and where a fact is not confirmed we say that too — for example, whether a series certificate covers a particular variant, or that the Chinese certificate for the GR6150 at 2,900 mm expired in February 2025 and its renewal has been requested.
The two families we supply, and how they differ in provenance
What we source beyond the robot
The robot is one line item. Around it we source and integrate spray guns and rotary bells, colour-change valve stacks, 2K mixing and metering, paint supply and circulation, seventh-axis tracks and positioners, grippers, vision systems and cell control — from named Chinese and international suppliers, quoted item by item. Where a component brand is specified by you, it goes into the contract verbatim.

Frequently asked questions
Who actually manufactures the GR series painting robots?
CMA (Wuhu) Robotics Technology Co., Ltd, in Wuhu, Anhui, China. That company is named as the certificate holder on every ATEX EU Type Examination Certificate and every Chinese GB/T 3836 certificate published on our certification page. CMA (Wuhu) is a subsidiary of CMA ROBOTICS S.p.A. of Italy, which EFORT acquired in 2015.
Is CMA an Italian or a Chinese company?
Both, in the sense that matters: CMA ROBOTICS S.p.A. is the Italian painting-robot company, and CMA (Wuhu) Robotics is its Chinese subsidiary and the manufacturing entity that holds the certificates for the GR series robots we supply.
What is EFORT's relationship to CMA?
EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd, founded in Wuhu in August 2007 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in 2020, acquired CMA ROBOTICS S.p.A. in 2015. Its own website lists CMA among its subsidiaries, alongside EVOLUT (2016), ROBOX and W.F.C (2017).
Who makes the SR portable painting robots?
Zhihui Robot Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. 智绘机器人科技(无锡)有限公司, in Wuxi, Jiangsu. It is the same company that was registered at Jiangyin as Zhihui Robot Technology (Jiangyin) Co., Ltd; the city in the name changed when it moved, so older documents and certificates carry the Jiangyin name. CHIEHEY is the brand mark printed on that literature, not a separate company. The SR series holds the Chinese explosion-proof certificate GYB23.3310X issued by NEPSI, and that one certificate covers all five SR models listed on this site — confirmed with the manufacturer. There is no ATEX certificate. We supply the robots, and we say so in those words.
What is LIVESPOWER's own role?
We are the supplier and integrator: model selection against your parts, the paint system and peripherals around the robot, pre-integration testing before shipment, export documentation and site support. For every brand on this site our role is the same: supplied and integrated by LIVESPOWER, with the manufacturer named on each page.
