Desktop and mini robots

Seven EFORT models from 7 kg at 713 mm to 16 kg at 944 mm, including three- and four-axis variants built for flat pick and place where a six-axis wrist adds nothing. Bodies are IP54 to IP65 with IP67 wrists on the six-axis models; cabinets are IP20 with IP54 optional. Figures below are from the manufacturer datasheets.

Frequently asked questions

What is a three- or four-axis version for?

Flat pick and place. If the part is always picked and placed with the same tool orientation — cartons off a conveyor, trays into a magazine, bottles into a case — the wrist axes do nothing but add cost, mass and maintenance. The ER10-3-900 and ER16-3-900 remove them.

Are these clean enough for electronics?

The ER7 and ER12 models are IP65 on the body with an IP67 wrist; the ER3-600 is IP40. For a cleanroom or a food line, tell us the class and we specify the protection and the lubricant.

Can they be mounted upside down?

Yes — floor, inverted, wall and angle mounting on most models. Inverted mounting over a conveyor is the usual way to save floor area on a small cell.

What is the difference between ER7-700 and ER7-900?

Reach: 713 mm against 911 mm, at the same 7 kg payload. Repeatability differs slightly, ±0.02 mm against ±0.03 mm. Take the shorter arm unless the layout needs the reach — it is stiffer and faster to the same point.
